Combining the best attributes of both their road and mountain tires, Michelin is throwing their Bib into the world of gravel. Adding to their line of Power road models, the newest tire is called, well, the Power Gravel.
Michelin Power Gravel
Available in a few weeks, we’re told that Michelin will be starting out with 700c tires in 33, 35, and 40mm widths. Tubeless ready, the tires have claimed weights of 360, 380, and 450g respectively and all have the same directional triangular tread pattern with aggressive cornering lugs on the sides. All three will run $64.99.
Michelin Wild Enduro
A bit farther out, Michelin is about to release their new Wild Enduro tire system which has been well proven on the pro Enduro circuit.
Featuring a front and rear specific tread pattern, only the front tire was on hand at Frostbike. Both tires will be available in 27.5 x 2.4″ only and in GumX compound (the front will also be available in Magi-X race day compound). Look for more details on the Wild Enduro soon.
Michelin Wild AM & Wild Force Plus
Last but not least, we were told that the Wild AM and Wild Force plus sizes will soon be available. Both tires will come in 27.5 x 2.6″ and 2.8″ to help make the most of the available traction.
